I carved this fox from wax and then used it to create a mold in sand.  I then recycled some of my silver offcuts by melting it down in a crucible to pour into the mold.  This process is called sandcasting.  The pendant turned out great and I still have the master to recast upon request. Originally, this was a custom request for my cousin for a special friend of hers and I thought it was too cute not to share with others.  It hangs on an 18" chain.  But you can request a different length if desired.
